- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

A V-12 diesel..................... the mind BOGGLES at the sound that would make in a car!

Something like a small scale EMD 645-12 maybe?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The Wooksta!

There's a big parcel from germany for me at my postal address.  However, due to the bungling of the Wuhan Chinese Communist Party, I can't go and collect it.

AeroplaneDriver

From the eBay Fairy Bandai 1/12 Imperial Stormtrooper.  My first ever figure model!

I will likely dirty it up and add so scratchbuilt stuff to make an 'ex Trooper maybe working as a private enforcer or bounty hunter in the Mandalorian timeline.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

kitnut617

The ex-Aurora AH-56 Cheyenne re-boxed by Atlantic that I had pre-ordered last year, was at the post office today. One part of me says 'build it now' and the other part says 'you've got two GB builds to do first'   ;D  Decisions, decisions ----  :-\
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

AeroplaneDriver

From the eBay Fairy-1/48 Airfix Seafire FR.46/47
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

How about an 'in box' review Robert, it's DECADES since I saw one of them?

Here's the new box which is sealed in cellophane shrink-wrap (I've already removed that here though) ;

Opening the box, the parts are in a sealed bag;

The instruction sheet looks like it's old but is newly printed, as are the decals which look quite good ;

The parts look very clean, with almost no flash anywhere. However, quite a few of the parts have detached from the sprues. I imagine this happened because the parts can float around in the box, there's no packing in the box although when shipped the whole package was padded in the mailing box. The box could hold four complete kits with room to spare I think ---

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Excellent, well done Robert.  :thumbsup:

The instructions really do look vintage, you tend to forget how styles have changed over time. That's a kit I always thought about getting, but never did. I wish I had now, it has loads of Whiffing possibilities.

How available is the new version?

This website says it's in the UK Kit

http://www.amerang.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=61909#.XqNu9OTsaMo

I got mine from here for US$20.00, postage though was another 20

Oh thanks for that Robert  :thumbsup:

As Kit say's the instructions do take you back to simpler times, plus the colour and look of the plastic even reeks of nostalgia.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

PR19_Kit

Hmmm, they're on Amerang's web site, but no price is mentioned.  :banghead:

I can't find anyone in the UK who's selling them but there's four from traders in the US, with prices from £13.77 to £21.07. But with postage costing WELL over £15.00!!
