Getting back onto ones stash status  ;D

I'm back up to a pair of U-2 wings and tailplanes (destined for the PR19 prototype) after OGL tried to 'resinise' them for me.

We'll be working on an alternative solution..............  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

If it's a protatype they don't have to be exactly the same a the real thing do they?

On the Stash increase note, received a set of intakes for the Buccaneer S1 by Aerocraft Models. Why he sells just the intakes and not the exhausts in the same pack is a little beyone me  :banghead:

A Swift FR.5 arrived today ... I know I ordered for some reason, but I can't think what.  It may have to do with the current GB ... I'll sleep on it - maybe my subconscious can produce the right answer.

:)

If all else fails - well, I have a Swift!  :)

Ebay says I've won the following:

Magna DH Sea Hornet NF21 - that's another RAF NF10 sorted

Heller Mirage IV - I want the wings for a delta wing hunter and the rest will provide the basis for a Hawker P.1129 (TSR2 spec project).

Received from eBay today

1 x 1/72 Monogram Hawk P-6E

Arrived with a vac-form conversion set to make a Curtiss P-1B as well. Thinking Chez inter war as I bought the wrong kit for a project but I am sure I can do something with it. Anyone was the P-1B conversion set?

Two exotic pieces:
- An 1:100 Arii VF-1D Valkyrie Fighter (The two-seater, from Macross)
- A vintage 1:144 Imai JHAU-ZAMAC (a mecha robot from a kit series called MEGARO ZAMAC - this never had a TV series as background)

Both for EUR 8,- each; esp. the JHAU-ZAMAC kit is a steal, since these things are normally on sale for insane prices of EUR 50,- upwards, and this is actually the first and only kit of this robot I have EVER seen in almost 40 years - I simply could not resist...

The Wooksta!

Ebay says I've just snaffled another Skybirds Hornet.  It's likely to be my last ebay purchase for a while.

A 1/24 Tamiya Jaguar XJR-9LM in the glorious purple & white Silk Cut scheme that they wore when they won Le Mans in 1988, driven by Jan Lammers, Andy Wallace and Johnny Dumfries.

I have plans for all of it, but in different models.........  ;)

NARSES2

From the Big H. Ordered Monday, delivered today

Arma Hobby 1/72 Hurricane Mk IIc Tropical, plus a few Eduard masks for things like Stuka's and Kates. Also got a Pee-Wit mask as it was about 1/2 the price of what Eduard charge (they don't do one for the kit I got it for anyway) and I wanted to see what they are like.

I already have an Arma Hurricane Mk I and I intend to build them in tandem, probably real world.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Two more from the Telsalda TAT Hong Kong in 1/24 scale this time  a grey Jaguar MkX in need of a full restoration and a red Jaguar Type-E roadster also in need of a full restoration missing quite a few parts.  I might be able to create some sort of prototype.

Arma Hobby 1/72 Hurricane Mk IIc Tropical,

I already have an Arma Hurricane Mk I and I intend to build them in tandem, probably real world.

Had a quick look in the box and am initially impressed. Slightly odd though. The Mk I comes with the choice of 3 different types of prop but they all have individual blades, whilst the Mk II has the one prop but it doesn't require assembly.Mk II also comes with two different styles of 20mm Hispano barrels. Not sure why yet, didn't look at the instructions just yet.

A bumper package of US decals from sidewhobob9, plus some U-2 wings and tailplanes too! DEEP JOY!

The decals include THREE sets of Blue Angels markings, which will accelerate a build I've had under way for over 15 years!  ;D
