The boxing I have is this one,

I have a memory of that boxing, but only because of the arrow on the nose.

Captain Canada

I had ordered a Hobbyboss A-10 NAW on February 29th, 2020. Since my lovely wife works in MI, I save $$$ by having it shipped there. It was finally delivered on May 5th, and then the depot closed, as it was primarily CDN shoppers, and we weren't allowed to cross for pleasure. Wife finally got a hold of the guy, and she picked it up today, August 6th ! Oh well, still happy to have it !

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!

1/72 Airfix HS Dominie [the classic kits rebooted. i have another on order too]

Also trying out the decal set and fix solutions bottles from Ammo MiG Jimenez
Keeper of George the Cat.

From the eBay Fairy, Hasegawa 1/48 F6F-3 'USS Essex".  Currently building Eduard's F6F-5 and while a good kit, it's nowhere near as good as Hase's.  Thinking about a 20mm and 40mm cannon armed Aleutian anti-shipping Hellcat in an arctic camo for this one.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Been reading a bit about the Aleutian Campaign lately and it's an interesting and underused one as far as wiffery goes. Look forward to seeing it

Agreed Chris.  A fascinating and little known theater in the war that is a treasure chest of Whiffery.  But it's a bit sad that the real story is so unknown.  Many died there defending North America and so few know it even happened.  Based on my experience hosting pub trivia for 10 years I'd wager maybe 2 in 10 Americans could even tell you where the Aleutians are.

As you undoubtedly know a lot of Brits are not to hot on geography either, or their own history for that matter  :-\

Two additions to the stash over the weekend:

1. Freightdog Naval Tandem-seat Hunter conversion, as detailed here: https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=48219.0

2. Three greetings cards of the MUSTARD Pilot's Notes artwork from Rowland White's store, as detailed here: https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=47802.0

If I ever get around to building the MUSTARD models I have, then it'll be nice to put the Pilot's Notes cards out on a table with them... ;D

"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

Dizzyfugu

Maybe with a spatted landing gear...?

Rheged

OOOPS!   I inadvertently skipped Nighthunter's entry reading this, with the result that I ended up trying to imagine a MUSTARD, and with spatted landing gear.  A mind boggling juxtaposition!!

And why not?

That's EXACTLY what the late lamented Brian da Basher would have done.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
