After a truly grotty morning, please don't ask what happened, I needed a treat. The following followed me home...

1/72 Italeri F-14A Tomcat 50th Anniversary of First Flight Edition. RW finish but the kit will yield a lot of decals and bits for other whiffs

one sheet sheet of thick red plastic card.

The DH I bought a couple months ago or a month ago. Something. It's here now! Going to militarize this one somehow. The MD-80 I bought and it showed up a week or more ago and I opened it. It's pretty neat! These were $20 a piece after shipping and Oklahoma Extortion Fee (or "OEF," which coincidentally is the sound made after being punched in the gut).

I got like....   5 of these Mad Dogs now. One is the bagged "generic"(because it comes with no airline markings) kit and I have a PSA one and a red TWA one and..  that might be it but I swear there's another one sitting around somewhere. I have some Alaskan decals for that bagged kit. I love the colors and the native guy on the fin. I think I'm digressing.

I also recently got in some sanding sticks and paint brushes.

Woah!

LOVE the Hawaiian Mad Dog, I've never seen one, not even a box lid pic.

I've done a -50 in that scheme from two Airfix -30s and and add-on decal sheet and it's a really good looking scheme.

Just won on eBay;
1/72 Combat Models Boeing E-3D conversion set
1/72 Magna  Blackburn Gannet AEW
1/100 BAe 146 and Fokker airliner

PR19_Kit

Make sure the 146 has the later engine nacelles. The originals were too narrow and Revell re-cut the moulds (!) to the more correct circular shape.

For a while they even supplied free replacements for those of us who'd bought the earlier, incorrect ones!

The Wooksta!

It's still a reasonable kit, although the Italeri one is better.

What's this kit like?

IIRC very old!

I've fond memories of it, and as Lee says ; it's still a reasonable kit, but the Italeri one does knock it into a cocked hat.
