A couple of AZ MB6s that were going quite cheaply, so it would have been rude NOT to buy them.

And they come with TWO fuselages each...............  ;) ;D

Zwilling?

I hadn't thought of that, no, but now that you mention it................   ;D ;)

Would that make it an MB12?  ;)

Or maybe just a Twin MB6 to rival the F-82 Twin Mustang.

That's what I was thinking off too Jim.

Leave off the tip tanks as they do look a bit contrived, and I'm not at all sure about that long canopy on the MB6 either, but you don't get the short canopy in the kit, even though you get the fuselage for it.

At one time you could buy the short canopy as an extra from the Big H, but not any more it seems. :(

I suggested a 'Twin MB6' a while ago as an alternative to the Twin Mustang in another thread.
As for the long canopy in the OOB whif 2–seater, I thinks it looks better than the 'real' short canopy - as a single seater (IMHO it is too short for a two-seater).

Maybe a P-51D canopy would be even better? I may try that as I have quite a few Falcon vacform Mustang canopies.

Just won another Cammett BAe Nimrod AEW.3 conversion set on eBay along with a 1/29 diecast Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III/IV play worn in need of a bit of restoration.  I'm thinking a two tone paint scheme.

The Wooksta!

Just snaffled another Vulcan on ebay, plus a Vulcan decal sheet.

And ordered some Vulcan related resin from Colin too.

The Wooksta!

More V bomber stuff off ebay:

Victor and Vulcan decal sheets - one each, antiflash Victors, camouflaged Vulcans

And the second Vulcan of the day, albeit assembled and part painted.  Looks like it's got the Blue Steel fairing in place, so it may have to be an early/mid 70s one with the jet powered version and in camo uppers with LAG underneath.  The salvage job is going wraparound.  Given the exhausts are 301 series, may have to be a late machine converted for Blue Steel.

Pretty sure I have enough Vulcans to cover everything I want to do now.

Make a two-seater with the long canopy in one fuselage and fair over the other one. Looks IMHO more interesting and has the crew concentrated in a single cockpit.

An Eastern Express 1:144 Airbus A318.

Is that the ex-Revell kit or a different mould?

AFAIK it is an original mould, from 2010, but I guess that it is still a copy.

Hah!  ;D

Yes, I know what you mean. It's one of those where you think 'I'm sure I didn't have this problem with the last one I built....' :(

Just won on eBay;
Revell 1/181 Convair B-36 Peacemaker
Revell 1/24 Ford Mustang Fastback
I think that there's a resin Mustang 3 door body conversion set but I will definitely check this out.
