The Wooksta!

Alec must be feeling unwell if he's getting them out that quick.  Normally, you'd have to wait for a glacier to move first before getting anything from Alleycat, although the money will be gone from your account quicker than you can turn your head.

I think you'll find he had a bunch for sale, and we got what was available before they sold out ---
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

The Wooksta!

Perhaps he did, this time, but I've been bitten once by him and never again.  I know quite a few others who are decidedly bitter at their treatment by Alleycat.  FFS, if you can't answer an email from a customer for three months, then there's something wrong with your service skills.

And now, more than ever, you should never piss off potential customers.

Today arrived  my airfix  re release  handley page  Jetstream  which I  got at a reasonable price.  The kit number  and relevant  part numbers for 2 pairs of engines have been sent to  Airfix , so I can  get the turbo prop engines for my De Haviland  Heron.
Also the tucano  propellers  arrived  from Hannants  for the same Heron project.

I have been arsed around  by them also and waited  several  months for  parts I  had ordered and paid for . Emailed them several times  and kept getting  told the reason why things were taking so long is explained  on their main page.  There was nothing there.

Not strictly my stash, bought for my daughter's birthday:
Revell 1/96 Apollo 11 Columbia and Eagle

Old but still quite nice kit, perfect for a ten year old who loves the moon and stars.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hobbyboss F-86F arrived, going to be Israeli Air Force.

Uh, nice idea!

Received this afternoon

From the Big Yellow H

1 x Kora 1/72  Messerschmitt BF 109 G10/14 German Fighter  Croatian Air Force Part IIdecals  to be used with one of my AZ Model kits and they are different that the Black 4 that everyone does.

1 x Quickboost 1/72 Defiant Mk.I Gunbarrels to go on one of my Airfix Defiants as the ends of the bun barrels in the kits look horrid

From eBay

1 x A Model 1/72 Yak-28IM which may be OOB. It's been started, parts off the sprues and some painting but that's it. Got it quite cheaply though and I like the fact it's an unusual aircraft too.

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

The Wooksta!

Sure Master do some gun barrels in turned brass that are suitable for Defiants.

I need to get some of their refuelling probes for Vulcan and Valiant.

Schloss Spackman now has its own nuclear deterrent as a nicely packed parcel arrived from Frieghtdog Inc. containing a couple of Skybolt missiles.  ;D

And very good they look too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Good luck, they are challenging but worth it.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

New at my stash

Always had a soft spot for multi turret designs. The SMK in particular looks nice.

And I never expected to see Hussite War Wagons available as mainstream plastic figure sets. The late Romans look nice as well
