Sure Master do some gun barrels in turned brass that are suitable for Defiants.

Couldn't find any so went with the Quickboost items which are a direct swap for the kit parts

...1 x A Model 1/72 Yak-28IM which may be OOB. It's been started, parts off the sprues and some painting but that's it. Got it quite cheaply though and I like the fact it's an unusual aircraft too.

Good luck, they are challenging but worth it.

It's diferent and at £7 odd worth a punt.

Glad you like them, Hope all the fins arrived still attached!

They were, and still are Colin.

I didn't realise there were short ones and long ones, and I've looked at the real thing at Cosford a zillions times too.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Still at a loss of what to do with it
Some ideas:
-"Backdate" it by adding extra rigging and struts, replacing propeller with 2-bladed one, etc. to make it either an "interim" type between CR.32 and CR.42, or even one preceding CR.32?
-The exact opposite: get rid of the remaining rigging, reduce the number of struts, streamilne the remaining struts and make the spats even more intimidating, include a wholly enclosed cockpit, etc.
-Re-engine it with an inline engine. Would pass for an Avia fighter, and Kawasaki Ki-10 was also an inlined sesquiplane...
-Convert it to parasol wing. The forgotten PZL fighter?
-Build it as is, but just whiff the markings. Finland might be too obvious. Yugoslavia? Romania? Norway? Netherlands? Portugal?
I'm going to make it Israeli

Ordered another 1/144 Victor, a B.1 this time. I've got several B.2s in the stash, but I wanted to follow the drawings for the HP.111, which show wingtip tanks instead of the carrots halfway down the wing. I could have hacked about the B.2 wing, but this is easier.

I needed some paint and "grass" for dioramas and bases and somehow these found their way into the box.

This because I have a fascination with amphibious vehicles.  I built one of these back in the day.  They appear to have added a driver figure and engine detail since.  Quite a good figure.  Jacket and shirt open, sleeves rolled up and one arm resting on the top of the door.  Good to see a relaxed and casual stance.

And this because I saw a pic of the box art and can't get the idea of a short wheelbase two door out of my head.  Three figures with this one.  A driver, and two brass hats - one sitting and one standing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

You need treatment, Lee.  Too many Vulcans.  Try something new, like Spitfires, Hornets and Swifts!

Just waiting for the AZ Hornets now...

Anyway, snaffled another Vulcan (BIN at a reasonable price) and UPS delivered something this afternoon.

The box was vastly oversized for the solitary resin piece within, which was the size of a normal 4x2 Lego basic brick.  I know it's got to come from Holland but this is utter overkill.

Anyway, it was a Vulcan K2 conversion, Model Graphics and yes, it's falling into rubber as I'd like one ore two more.  "Oooh, Piracy!"  Yes, perhaps, but then as I'm ripping off a company run by a convicted criminal it's a bit like Harold Shipman telling Fred West that he shouldn't have done all them murders.

Got to love the old Lindberg Pirate captain series of tall ships, lol! At least they're all the same scale. Captain Sir Henry Morgan's Satisfaction may be the most accurate, lol! I know the Captain Kidd's pirate ship isn't the Adventure Galley. And lord knows if Blackbeard's Queen Anne's Revenge is accurate. The Dutchman looks like and the Jolly Roger is a French Frigate from the latter part of the 1700s.

I bring this up because I will be getting the Captain Kidd pirate ship soon.
