Heard about this and seen photos Chris. But what do you think of it?

Initial impressions are that it looks very good in the box. Sharp moulding, can't see any flash and crisp detail. The undercarriage construction looks as though it will require careful study of the instructions beforehand as it looks complicated and a tad fiddly, but then the Wildcat's was in real life. Having said that my previous experience with ARMA kits would suggest that it's well engineered and will fit well and relatively easily as long as you follow their instructions. The complicated parts of the PZL I built went together nicely and without hassle.

I've got the basic boxing btw.

Sounds good enough to me. Will see if I can get one as a 'care package for myself' as there is no SMW this year Perhaps even Danish markings could go on such in the immediate post WW2 period.

The Wooksta!

Acquired another pair of Vulcans from ebay and on looking in the loft at me Mam's to drag the one I knew was there, I find another.  Was sure I had another but hadn't seen it.  This is good, it's either going to be a K2 tanker in Hemp/LAG/White or XM607 at Red Flag '78 in an overall Mid Stone/Dark Earth wraparound.

The AZ Hornets are out the Czech Republic, as I've just snaffled an F1 and a PR2.

Another 1/72 Revell Airbus A400M with French and German decals.  I'd like to build a 4 engined turbofaned version.

That'd be a C-17 then. Almost anyway.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I got the idea from Britmodeler or something similar.

zenrat

From BNA model world a Hasegawa Egg Plane FA-18 and a Meng cartoon He-177.
The FA-18 will join the RAEF while the He-177 might be scaleoramaed into 1/72.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Also about to procure an Academy 1:72 Razorback P-47 for a whiffy livery idea.

Won by a friend for me last weekend:

Airfix 1/72 Harrier FA.2 for the Irish Air Corps.
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

The Wooksta!

Acquired another pair of Skybirds Hornets on ebay, an F20 and an NF21.

Seems everyone is clearing out their Sea Hornets for some reason.  The F20 was the hardest one of the Skybirds kits to get, yet I've acquired quite a few this year for some reason.

Made a trip to the local Ollie's Outlet today.  For those unfamiliar Ollies is a salvage/overstock store here in the US (the southern bit anyway).  They frequently have models in stock and today I got a Revellogram 1/48 F-102 and a Lindberg 1/48 Snark Missile for $9 each.  Lots of whiffing potential with the Snark.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Gondor

Received from Wonderland Models today, only ordered yesterday morning
