Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Ah, no. That's 1/144, sorry.

There's lots of 1/144 kits out there , Welsh Models do one too.

I'm sticking firmly to the 72nd scale. Old habit.
Vac form - I have yet to try one on. I thought I was going to build a Nimrod many years ago, but then Airfix cut that story short. Luckily..  ;)

I still hang on to an old HP Hastings vac form kit though. Just haven't dared to start it yet

Just taken delivery of these 3d printed British prototypes and paper projects, all 3d printed.

Some interesting stuff there, oh yes.

I see a Miles M52, a DH 108 and 110, and is that a Fairey Delta III right at the bottom?

Yep, FDIII.  Planning on cleaning it up and redoing it from the original BSP: Vol 1 cover art.  There's one or two that I'll pass along to Martin if and when we next see each other, for the SIG reserve collection.

The one I'm really happy to have is the twin engined RAE mach 2 fighter design that Armstrong Whitworth designed something similar to for Spec F.155.  Air defence greys, conformal tank and wingtip Firestreaks I think, possibly a black fin and 11 Sqn markings.

What's the American one over on the RH side just above the DH 108?

...but should anyone bring out a 1/72 Sud Sahara...

You're talking about the french whale, I presume?

Yeah - I could do with one of those too..

A French company called JMGT/SOCRATE or Battleaxe did a 1/72 vacuform. But you'd have a better chance finding it if you called it a Breguet 763/765 Sahara. This company made two versions apparently, the Deux Ponts variant  too.
Yes that's what I am looking for,  thanks.
Britmodeler says that Onemanmodel is considering making a 1/72 and 1/48 3D model , he was hinting of a release this year but it's likely to be revealed in the next two years.

Just picked up a Revell Germany F-4F Phantom in 1/72nd scale from a LHS. Looks pretty nice in the box. It has elaborate decals for Richthofen squadron anniversary. Don't know wether to whiff it or build OOB.

Ebay says I've won another Vulcan and also an Airfix Valiant.  Although the latter was at the pricey side of reasonable.

That'll be my Hemp tanker.  I might have some Gulf War Victor markings I can use.

1/72 Cheyanne and Flagon.

Re-relase of the Atlantis Cheyannne, and a brand I never heard of, Pioneer2, made in Turkey, Flagon SU-21G Flagon.  The Flagon does not seem to get much Whif love, but I have an idea.....

Pioneer 2 was the British company that reboxed a lot of the PM stuff in the UK.
