Got a parcel  picked up from the sorting office for me today, containing  2 complete  pairs of engines  for the Airfix  H.P Jetstream.  They fit near on perfect to the D.H Heron I have  so a modified version will get the RAF  transport command  treatment.  The propellers  for it are after market  tucano  ones, which  might be a bit  too modern for the  time period, but it is wiff world.

Just shot the Special Hobby 1:72 Super Mystère/Sa'ar double combo including the flanking booklet for EUR 20,- at ev!lbay. Quite a good deal, I think?

Old Wombat

Why did you pay 20 Euro to shoot it? Surely they can't be that bad! :o

Newly won this weekend:

Hasegawa 1/72 Harrier FRS.1
Testors 1/72 SNJ/T-6 Texan/Harvard
Minicraft 1/144 Mirage F1

Purchased on Thursday:
(Roden) 1/72 Sopwith Salamander (Boeing P-1 "Billy")

PR19_Kit

A much smaller, 1 mm, Molotow chrome pen for use on my Secret Prototype, plus a seat belt kit for the same project.

I've got enough stuff now to finish it.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Received these today, bunch of UH-1 weapons, some from an Esci/Italeri kit and some others are from Hasegawa. Too bad there's only a trio of miniguns, not two pairs as i'd hoped for... but these will be useful anyway.

Score!  I paid about twice as much for mine and I felt that was a good deal. Actually, two beautiful kits plus a great book for around 40 Eurobucks, I'm still not gonna complain.

Looking forward to what operator you'll be choosing for the Super Mysteres. I'm guessing the Honduran markings will not turn up on their intended kit either, right?
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

A delivery from Metro Hobbies today.
I needed some paint and was worried it would get bullied by the other parcels so for protection I added a 1/72 Airfix Defiant.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
