Warbird Decals did a set for a whif P-51 in Thunderbird markings. LINK! Just for completeness' sake....  ;)
<...> the set is pretty neat.... it's possible to actually make TWO Mustangs so I'm planning to make an NMF P-51B as well as the white P-51D.    ;D

Jolly good plan!
Cheers,
Moritz

T-34:76 1942 Factory 112 by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr

It's a full detail kit - engine, transmission, suspension, crew accomodation, gun breech.  An amazing level of detail in a 1/48 kit.  Probably too much to be honest as most of it will be hidden.  However, it was only $20!  I already have the T-34/85 based on the same moulds and this one will get whiffed.  Some kind of engineering or recovery vehicle maybe.  Or an SPG or SPAAG.

Delivered yesterday from Poland, Mistercraft 1/72 Su-20M2... looks nice in the box... anyone built one of these? For 8,50€ w/ shipping it seems very good, just hope it isn't a pig to build.

I have slashed up two of them, and one ended up more or less in original configuration. Went together surprisingly well, it's like one of the original KP model kits, just a tad more modern. IIRC the mould is from the Nineties (from Bilek, I think?), and it has been re-released in a zillion of boxings since then.
I cannot remember any major issue - except for the fact that box art, painting instructions and decals tend to match only occasionally with these Master/Mistercraft kits.

Thank you for the info, Dizzy.
It was very hard to find any pics of the sprues and the ones I did find weren't very helpful. I think I may be buying more of these kits, they seem to be good value for money.

Pantera, not Bilek.  ;) Both Pantera and Bilek did a Su-17/22 family of their own in the mid-1990s, but only Pantera released a Su-20.

In a wake of masochism (probably as a response to the cancellation of a short holiday trip next week, thanks to new Corona regulations... :-\) I ordered a Matchbox 1:700 Fletcher class destroyer - have the idea to make a Lend-Lease Royal Navy ship from it with some equipment changes and a flashy livery.

You are right, the Bilek mold is the later Su-22M3 with the drooped nose, as single and two seater. However, the comment that the Su17/20 kit (Pantera mold) goes together quite well persists.

A box from BNA Modelworld arrived for me at work today.  Stupidly I forgot to bring it home.
It contains one of these...

...which I plan to try to modify into something close to one of these (albeit a slightly larger version).

One of the benefits of working for the P.O. I suppose ?  ;)

We weren't allowed to have parcels delivered to us at the office back in the day, mainly for legal reasons but there were others. All got a bit complicated.
