RW looks like this.

But what if instead of orange I used pink?

I spent last night reading up on Crusaders and Covenanters.  There were some interesting looking variants of both. I was taken with the stories of un-governed Crusader Gun Tractors being able to outrun Military Police motorcycles.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ah, okay, Radish would be proud.

I thought thought you might be giving it an Aussie vibe, Tassie Tiger style.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

And so to Lidl for an Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Ia.

It'll be converted either in a PR Spit or possibly (most likely) a Seafire IIc using a long-in-the-stash Airwaves conversion.  That means the Airfix Vb I was intending to use can join the stash reduction box.

All sorts of Italian camouflage decals, a couple from the Big H and one direct from Tauro Model in Italy. The latter got here a day before the Big H's shipment!  :o

These all destined for my S.77 flying boat in the 'Captured GB'. Well, some of them anyway.

That would work, although the other distinguishing feature of the Thylacine was it's loooooong jaw so i'd have to lengthen the nose and add an extended sharks tigers mouth.

In a bit of a modeling funk at the moment and not building but still picked up some good deals on eBay including some lovely kits that usually go for lots of $$

1/48 Tamiya F-14A
1/48 Tamiya P-38
1/48 Revell Rafale M
1/48 Tamiya F4U-1D. Dirt cheap and one of my favorite kits ever.
1/48 Hasegawa P-40N. Plan for this one is to try my hand at converting it to a two seater to finish as American Dream, The converted two seater P-40N I got to fly last year.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I know that I said that I wouldn't buy anymore kits this year but the price for a 1/72 Mach2 Breguet Alize was too much of a temptation.  I also bought the paint for the brown and cream Pulman,  plus glue and filler/puty.

Dizzyfugu

Another cheap Matchbox 1:700 HMS Kelly from ev!lbay for less than EUR 4,50,-. Suitable subject for experiments with Mountbatton Pink.

Read some very good reviews, indeed was even tempted to to move up to 1/48 myself
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I did say "tempted" Kit , but I resisted and just hope they bring it out in 1/72  ;)

I built one earlier this year (SWMBO got it for me for Christmas last year).  I would probably go as far as to say it is the best plastic model kit ever built, and likely close to as good as will ever be built.  Truly an amazing bit of styrene engineering.  One of my biggest problems was getting parts apart again when dry fitting.  It literally is THAT good.  Go for it, you wont be sorry.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
