Hey why not? Nobody was hurt, it's 2020 we need light relief really badly, and it make/ me chuckle.

Picked up in Dave Coley's sale

Dora Wings GeeBee racers R1 &R2
Not in the sale Dora Wings Lockheed Vega
Not ordered but in the box a very nice set of three tweezers

Completely different order the Maco Z-37A Cmelak

A nice break from wartoys while I await the Airfix 1/144 Concord prototype re-release, hopefully arriving before my last marbles get mislaid....

Nobody was hurt,

And that's the important part. If there had been any injuries or deaths I never would have posted this.

Of course you can't visit a model shop and only leave with what you ordered  ;D  so I brought home another kit that looked lonely on the shelf, the 1/72 Avis RFB Fantrainer 400.

Someone here (Martin?) did one in RAF colours? It was meant for the Luftwaffe but they chose not to, so that's an easy Whiff using Alpha Jet markings.

Wasnt me. Might have been Mike McEvoy thou.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Alternatively you could get some of Colin Freightdog's new add-ons for the Dominie, and.....

"Accidentally" slip one onto the Jetstream???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Why not?

I've got a couple of Jetstreams too, a nice looking aeroplane, but with the wrong engines for most UK applications. I see a Pucara or two in my future....

From eBay, Airfix 1/48 Gnat.  Lovely little kit with no end of whiffing possibilities.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Now, that's one of the most irrelevant statements I have ever seen in this whif-world. The proper wording should obviously be:
"..but with the more potent Garrett engines the MoD always should have specified.."   ;)
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

On an entirely different note - I might have placed a successful bid on yet another Revell A400M. It might also be my third.

The RN T.3 was a modified Garrett-engined J31.  I had a lovely pint or several with a couple of RN Jetstream  drivers back in the late 90s when we were all doing annual recurrent training in the J31 simulator at Dulles.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Ah, you'd be back in the 'death dealing' business again.  ;)

There's a time and a place for death dealing and a time and a place for civilian stuff.  Sometimes, when something particularly egregious has happened in the world I despair of humanity and want to build something "nice".
And then a few days later i'll happily see how many napalm tanks I can fit under a 1/72 Skyraider.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

;D

Two Pythons would have been even better!  ;D

I didn't even know there WAS a Jetstream T3!  :o It's very rarely mentioned and Wiki ignores it totally. Were the T3s conversions from the T2s as they all seemed to be FAA aircraft?
