Very impressive with definite Dewoitine tendencies although it looks a tougher bird.

Excellent!

Shows what I know: I was betting all through the backstory part that the model was based on something French....

Glad I wasn't the only one  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Quote from: Dizzyfugu on January 16, 2020, 01:04:11 AMMy hardware interpretation of the Type 250 drawing also reminds a lot of the contemporary Dewoitine 501/510 monoplane, doesn't it?

Interestingly, there was a D510 in RAF service for a while, it was used to test and evaluate the Hispano-Suiza 20mm cannon.

Thanks a lot, everyone!  The "Skylark" also gained attention from the Ukraine (quick reaction!):

Note the edited background story, and apparently one of these aircraft has survived, residing at the military museum in Fort Saint Elmo, Malta.  ;)

You mean you didn't KNOW that Thomas? I thought it was common knowledge.................  ;D ;)

A late thread revival, but here's the result of the parallel build at FlickR that spawned my retrograded, Irish Spitfire:

That's FANTASTIC! Most impressive indeed.

Has he SHORTENED the wing span, or broadened the chord though?
