The most important one.    Must finish, must provide for Group Build!  ;D    I kid... but, yeah.... it's always funner to be able to wrap one up on time to meet the deadline.

If I do get this done on time I think it will be a first!

The key is to have a crystal ball and anticipate the group builds before anyone even thinks of them.

Now you have some good motivation, times two, to get after it. Double celebration upon completion.    Not only completing it in time, but the first to do so.  ;D

If I get other house projects done it will help. I was talking to a local cop I know and asked him to arrest my wife for trying to work me to death. He laughed.  :banghead:

 ;D ;D ;D

That's the god's the honest truth! Similar here -- house projects. I've had my paying work load reduced on account of the "situation" so I figured I'd have more hobby time but I've found that I've been busier than ever! The bright side is, I'm genuinely happy to have gotten so much of this stuff done. But the thing is.... once you start down that path.....    ;D

It's the old "now that I have this torn apart I might as well do that".

Yes... chain reaction! It's easier to keep going once a head of steam is built up.  And you were right earlier, too.... other people are watching.  ;D     Once our friends and family seeing us doing all this glorious work they'll come to expect it all the time and miss it when it goes away.  ;D

To the folks in charge:
This thing is never going to get done by the deadline so might as well move it to a more appropriate place.
I fully intend to finish this I just have know idea when. Way to much real life in the way these days. Virus enforced "preretirement" is full of house jobs and a car that won't stay fixed.

and a car that won't stay fixed.

Tell me about it! I've got one of those too.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I sympathize, too!! It somehow seems that with "lockdown" a lot of people are busier than ever because suddenly they are "beholden" and there's no excuse for not getting the infinite list of overdue home projects done.  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If you don't finish in time for this GB, this model will be interesting anyway to complete (for you) and enjoy/see finished (for us). <_< ;D
I confirm what I said: no matter the GB date, I hope this nice model will be finished someday.  <_< ;) ;D

This is flat-out demented.

Can't wait to see it finished!

Well, I've gathered some mojo and gotten back to this project! I came up with a solution to the saddle across the A-10 fuselage that involved ripping the wings off an old Ertl/AMT 1/48th Skyhawk and gluing them together to form a delta shape that will sit across the A-10 fuselage. Under that will be an area for landing gear as per the Be-200. On top of that will be the A-10 engines mounted on a short pylon. I have weapon pylons from the Skyhawk kit that might just work fo that. I'm thinking of mounting weapons on top of the wing to avoid the water. Pics to follow.
