I know that some modellers use loose change as a form of ballast on their models but I stumbled onto something that is going to change my way of thinking,  by gluing a two pence piece to the underside of the 1/72 Italeri Sikorsky Sea Dragon. This gives the appearance of Blue Kestrel radar as fitted to the EH-101 Merlin.
It also works on the Matchbox Boeing CH-47 Chinook and the Airfix Fairey Rotodyne and prevents them from being tail sitters.
The Two Pence radar doesn't intrude too much on the ground clearance.
