So I've started hacking at this, conversion to a radial engine makes the chin radiator redundant so it's been carved off.
Oil cooler may be enlarged a bit to compensate for what might be a higher running temperature. I guess next will be to
saw off the nose. But delicately, because it's probably going to be attached to something else.

Removing the chin radiator is improving aesthetically but replacing the inline engine by a radial goes in the opposite direction. Ahem, at that time the main goal was not aesthetics, you are right...

And as it's a bomber, the bomb aimer would have a much better view too.

To do that the poor chap would have to crawl on his belly between the cockpit floor and the bottom of the fuselage. Tight squeeze.

IIRC there's a sliding section underneath the Battle that covers the bomb aimers window.

The PZL.23 Karas had a similar arrangement for a bomb aimer, even though the gondola was positioned further back and probably easier to access.

When did that ever stop those in charge of RAF procurement ? After all the bomb aimer was only ever likely to be an enlisted man

This conversion is going to be... interesting. From the graceful outline of a RR Merlin cowling to the decidedly unattractive nose swiped from a Vickers Wellesley. On the front, hanging uncomfortably like an afterthought, will be a Bristol Pegasus XX

Try the Centaurus cowling section from the Matchbox Tempest.  May be a better fit as the fuselage cross sections are similar.
