Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Puttying and sanding done, lick of paint to show any flaws - looking okay.

Close to being together, soon the painting will begin. Haven't had a lot of success in that area lately, disasters abound. Oh well, press on.

You'll notice that the decal sheet also includes Belgian markings. So now I have to poke through the stash to see where they might come in handy. Maybe the 'Composante air' could have used a Bristol Type 170 post-war? I also have another Vickers Wellesley. Hmmm...

Gotta love the long greenhouse glazings of those 1930s light bombers. The radial engines gives the Battle a somewhat Northrop look.
Whatever.

That's looking good, like a Sea Skua's big brother.

My thought exactly.  Like a bigger and better looking Skua.  One that grew up and exercised.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Put a turret on it and it'd be a 'Big Roc'.  ;D

Yeah, I know, Hat coat..............................
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Very nice. Looks like a Vultee bomber, very SCW.

Makes me realise how large the Battle was.  I might put a turboprop on mine.

Yeah! Didn't know wings were so long. Or maybe he used Wellesley wings?
Anyway the radial engine gives it a more purposeful/manly look. Good conversion.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Test airframe for the Rolls Royce Tweed, perhaps?

Standard wings. If we assume that the scale dimensions are accurate for each model, here is a fairly direct comparison, Battle on top of Wellesley.
