It's definitely happened to submarines. German one did it off the US east coast IIRC.

Several US submarines disappeared on patrol whilst using the Mark 14 torpedo & there were no claims of submarines sunk by enemy (mostly Japanese) forces at the time. The belief is that they were sunk by their own torpedoes.

Gerry Anderson GB.  Make something real world into something that would look right in Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, etc.

But not Four Feather Falls, of course.  Or Secret Service.  And Thundercats is right out!

Now I'm way past your two hour time limit as I don't live on the Internet and it doesn't trigger anything on my phone as if it did I'd never get anything done  ;) However as for Whif ideas based on Four Feather Falls ? I'm not saying there are any, but I just wanted to know why you'd ignored one of my favourite childhood memories  ;D However one possible idea could be to take your favourite childhood t.v. show and "modernise" it ? What would it look like if made today ? This would involve not only changes in the technology used to make the program, but changes in what is now seen as socially acceptable compared to back in the day.
