There was nothing really wrong with the Firecrest, it's just that other than pilot view it was no real improvement over the Firebrand and with jets coming in and the Wyvern on order, there was no point continuing with it.

She looks so good in that paint Robert ! Love the Red Angel as well ! Great job on that, certainly doubles the interest in this build ! Or triples, once you get the second missile built

Red Angel?  Lots of the colour code weapons never got another name - Red Beard, Blue Steel, Yellow Sun for example.

Wooow, That's a great looking Wyvern! I really like te conversion. Have to be an godalmighty amount of work. But the results is looking splendid!

After thinking up a backstory, I've given this a later mark designation, an SF.4.

Here's some newer photos of where this is at, it's not finished though, I have the cockpit/canopy to do, and there's some more decals going on it once the sheet I ordered arrives.

Re-reading the 4+ bookazine last night, I have to add something to it too, it seems some Wyverns has a target ranger radar installed in leu of the outer port Hispano. This aircraft would definitely have to have one. It was called an AS-65/APG-5.
