Skyrays suit most schemes I think, they are just such attractive aircraft.

I'm particularly impressed with the clarity of your canopy

The Skyhawk looks good in RN paint. I've done one but have a hankering for more

To be fair, the statement is correct with both Skyhawks and Skyrays.  ;)
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

I've been taking advantage of the nice weather this weekend and being outside while I can. Rain moves in tomorrow so I'll be back to the bench soon.  The pilot and seat are mostly trimmed down to fit in the tight cockpit and painting has started.  Final product within a day or two!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Well I FINALLY got this one done today....it's been on a stand for a week or so, but I've been putting off fitting a seat and pilot.  The tight fit of the A-4 cockpit made it a challenge to say the least.  The seat is the back and headbox of an MB Mk10 from a Revell Tornado and the pilot is from an Airfix Hawk.  It took some pretty gruesome surgery to get him to shoehorn in.  But at least now it's not an empty ghost cockpit on a stand.  Something a pretty as a Skyhawk deserves better than being a drone!!

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That does look nice and also very purposeful in a couple of those shots
