I understand this is round one, interesting to see some of the leaders and I am surprised by a few (won't spoil it with hints).

I find myself rooting for several that I cast votes for as I had ideas, but some of the others I have no idea what I would build.  Part of the "fun" in these GB's you sometimes have to stretch a bit to get out of your comfort zone and make something you would not normally make- and I tend to especially enjoy other builds that really fit the theme well. Watching with anticipation

Like with most RW political votes I find it frustrating when the electorate (ie. you lot) get it wrong and don't make the choices I think you should.

Democracy!  The people have been polled and  have spoken in reply!!......................and now the returning officer must try to work out what they said.    If he thinks they misunderstood, he will ask again and again  until they do understand what the right answer was!!!

At least its direct elections and not the Electoral College.

It could be the traditional 'One Man, One Vote'. In that Chris is in charge, he is the Man and he has the Vote  ;)

Agree that sometimes the WHIF voters get it "wrong"! How could they vote that way?!?

In political terms I guess WHIF is closer to a democratic republic, but the GB moderators are more like benevolent dictators!   ;)

I hope you don't mean the GERMAN democratic republic!  :o  ;D

I always thought that "benevolent dictatorships" could be a fairly successful system of government  ;) Well at least in the 17th and 18th Centuries anyways.

5 or 6 days to go before I shut the first Poll down lads.

It'll be interesting to see if the voting pattern in stage two is a repeat of stage one or if a long shot comes from behind.
