Neat-O. What a cool idea, a disguise. And boy does she nook nifty in something other than black! Way to go dude.

There are pics where Brit pilots took to painting the front of Hurricanes with the same mottled colour pattern of the Italian aircraft. I don't know about the outcome, but it's such a cool idea.
Getting back into modeling

Gary, the outcome of the Hurricanes painted with Italian paint is clear : we won the war!

:P  ;)

BTW, is that a stock Berkut front-end on that bird? Looks rather Hornetish.

You must be completly silly!!!!

You didn't push us back.....we simply ran out of our own beer, and couldn't stand your watered down excuse for a beer, so we packed our things and went back home!!!!

Slight correction lads -

War of 1812 - actually ran from 1812 to 1814

May have nominally been over the impressment of US seaman into the RN - infact the UK took the view that a British citizen could not become a US one in time of war, and only impressed those it considered to be British - was more to do with a flegdling US trying to get it's hands on southern Canada whilst the Brits were elsewhere involved.

US invasion of Canada held off by Canadian Militia

British re-inforcements arrive from the Peninsular, invade US and burn the Presidential residence, whence "White House"

Brittish attack New Orlean's (unknown to both sides there the war had ended with a treaty a few weeks before) are defeated.

Both sides watch each other warily across the US/Canadian border until after the US Civil War and the Fennian Invasion of Canada (always wondered about official US involvement in that ?).

Gradually after that the two countries learn to respect and admire each other's idiosyncracies and hopefully we all live happily ever after !

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Bah, we'll just change the road signs so you go straight through to Mexico.  :P
But make certain you bring enough beer to bribe the right officials and you won't have to bring any ammo.

If your invasion force will please fill my fridge with some of that good canuck brew (to replace this even more watered down than usual 3.2% Utah beer) I will gladly let the troops bivuac in the field behind my house and let them all use my shower in the morning.  If we saw down all the power poles, my street would make a passable runway, too.

That's a pretty cool concept, by the way.  I think the white is a little stark, and at first I took the wings/canards, etc. . . for unpainted styrene.  But those parts would have to be stark white to work over a snow/ice field.

I have seen some 'adversary' aircraft with parts of their wings blacked out, and other markings to confuse the actual outline of the plane, so there is a precedent.  What comes to mind is an F-18 I've seen somewhere painted to look like a MiG-29.

Thanks for the invite, Nox !

We're hoping it will be a peaceful and happy take-over. Judging by how easily the general populus let GW steal the country in the 200 election, we're not anticipating too much hassle. And once there's a 2-4 of John Molson's finest in every fridge, things will be all better !

We also plan on helping with that crap you call TV, as well as bringing you real Football.

  ;)  :o

Well, some of us are of the opinion that the Dems tried to steal it, even bringing experts at that art in from Chicago in 2000, but weren't competent enough to do so.  YMMV, of course.

Evil ? You guys remember this pic ?

Scary. It's actually quite impressive how loyal and protective a true Siamese is. Lovely.

As for progress, here's my twin seat FASTEWAC finally hitting the 'bench' again. This will be a long term project, as I need to start, and then finish, a 350th scale carrier before I can finalize the story !
