Some people are really good at this "scratch-build" business, aren't they! :o

Some people make us mere mortals think about giving up and sticking to OOB building.

Doesn't last long though.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Or switching to knitting even :(
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Ha, ha, I know the feeling, particularly when it comes to miniature painting and weathering.

Getting close to painting! Here she is primed with panel lines scribed. Just need to do some wheel well and weapons bay detail and add the grills to the intakes.

I tried that, but have been told: "Why don't you try plastic modelling instead?"
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

This build has given me inspiration to kitbash my 1/72 Airfix F-117A with the Matchbox Shadowhawk.

I'm intrigued. What do you have in mind and what is a Shadowhawk?
