How about a 1/25 car engine?
Should look the part in a 1/35 truck chassis?
I can send you parts for either a straight six or a v8.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's an idea I'll have a look at those scales, cheers

You can ask the designer to do it in different scales, this one is 1/10, so a smaller scale should be cheaper.

Yes I spent a bit of time looking at sites like this didn't really find the right design I wanted

Which model of Peterbilt as it appears that both Cummins and Caterpillar
I-6 diesels were used in 1968. The do look different from car engines.

Cat 1674 and 1693, note that they're turbo-charged:

Cummins NTC350, also turbo-charged:

Cheers , I don't have any details at all apart from the type of truck plus there are no pics of the actual engine so I can have some license here

It wouldn't be too hard to dress up the 1/25 AMT Chevrolet six to look like the Cummins.

Alternatively Miniart do a number of 1/35 tank engines.
For example.

Which might look good powering a 1/25 hot rod.
