That is a BEAUTIFUL looking model, and a worthy reward for such a problematic build-process.

Very well done!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

I can't believe I almost missed this one. That is absolutely brilliant. Getting all those disparate parts to come together so smoothly is an amazing feat! Just fantastic

While I couldn't in good conscience say I like it more than a regular F-15, as that's my favourite aircraft, this is amazingly pretty. I love the flowing lines of it, and it's perfect fuel for the mind to wonder how it would've developed in the same way as the F-15 we got has. It looks almost anime-like with its' sleek shape, and there's a hint of Flanker/MiG-29 about it too. Especially brilliant work given the trials gone through to get it to the finish line.

It does look very like the earliest Sukhoi T10 variants.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I've noticed that the Russians (and now the Chinese) seem to do copies (almost) of the projects that didn't win a competition in the west
