Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

One Lewis gun on the bow, please.   ;D

That would be perfect!

The guns are there in the last pic of the Cutter I posted.  Slightly more punch than a Lewis.

Harsh words and an open notebook would work in a perfect world but South Australian smugglers caught on the beach with a cargo of contraband West End Draught (it's illegal in the PDRV on a number of grounds - passing itself off as beer being one of them) tend to shoot first and submit to justice later.

Better they send it somewhere.  We prefer the Coopers brand in Adelaide.   ;) ;)

0.5" Browning ? Going to get a bit crowded, certainly no room for picking up any smugglers whose boats have been sunk
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yup, couple'a Ma-Deuces lying under the cutter in that pic. ;D

'S OK, though, even our smallest West End Torrens Water smuggling boats have a twin-mount of M2 HB .50cal's, most have, at least, a M45 .50cal Quadmount turret plus assorted other weapons. ;)

Can't believe I forgot about a rudder.
I was going to use the kit one but I appear to have lost it.  Nevermind, i've scratched one up.

I think she'll be named Velma.

It's really a Versatile Extra Long Manoeuvring Attachment , so why not call it Velma?  On that subject, I once knew a man with appallingly bad breath called Ibbotson.

Stands to reason, his breath would have to be appallingly bad to rate its own name, wouldn't it?

I had a friend an acquaintance once with terrible breath - I called him Mr. Itosis once, and he said "huh?", so I called him Hal ...

We're no longer on speaking terms.

Thank goodness.

Photos when that's done.
