Hi!

Can anyone tell me if the decals in the JP cars are any good?

Rat, I plan on doing an Agusta 109 in Jurassic Park colours, that ought to be something neat!

Anyone who has a T-Rex and a couple Raptors is elligible in this group build.

hmm...iv got two of the kits from the later film but no decals are provided...im unsure as to which decals are in any of the others if any?
When i did a model of one of the film vehicles i just copied onto transfilm the logos from various JP. books etc. (a brilliant 'special' on the film by 'Hobby Japan' did similar too i recall!)

...the tour truck scheme from the first film would definately look sweet on a chopper...maybe as a sortv ariel safari tour ride !!?, altho the chopper in the first film was in corporate 'In-Gen' colours (the hypothetical parent company)
...iv some stuff on it in an old 'making of' book if its of any use for ref?

...chuckle..yip im a dinonerd too.. :blink:

btw. the little set of Tamiya 'Velociraptor's are really nice (actually the 'raptors' are actually 'Utahraptors' in the film, but near enough for our purposes!) ...Revell did a neat snap tight JP. 'T.rex' in rearing pose on top of a wrecked truck baseplate..again pretty neat...im sure the latter one could make for a very cool JP. themed diorama !!?

Yeap, the A-109 in the movie is in Ingen's colours, but what if the park had opened and they had painted that 109 in a more suitable scheme?  I'll try to find a car kit of some sort from the movie and work from there...

I read "Raptor Red" by Baker, and in it he says they were Utahraptors and not Velociraptors!

Now, a Cobra in JP colours hovering near that Revell T-Rex would be rather sweet!!
