Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar.

When the Scooby Gang took Mystery Inc. worldwide they leased a Fairchild Flying Boxcar from zenrat industries to transport the Mystery Machine between cases.
Other than it's eye-catching paint job the C-119 received additional pantry capacity, refrigerators and an APU to run them.  Being a zi aircraft (and before that being operated by Air America) it already had hidden storage compartments in which Shaggy could stash his herbal smoking requisites.

The Model.
Testors (Italeri) Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar built OOB other then the main UC bays and legs being fitted backwards (instructions are not clear unless you check where it shows the legs being fitted) and SAC white metal UC Legs.
PJ Productions crew.
Car paint and metaliser NMF plus Vallejo acrylics.
Combination of kit decals and home printed.
Mystery Machine is by Hotwheels and Scooby Gang are by Elheim Figures.

That's BRILLIANT Fred, and fits the backstory a treat.  :thumbsup:

I love the bit about the previously fitted 'hidden storage compartments'....  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
