Transport models Preston to close.

I have just  received an email  regarding the  model shop in Preston, and the sad news that it is going to  permanently close its doors  come the end of June.  The covid 19 and the owners  health have caused the decision  unfortunately.
I used to be in this shop a lot when I lived nearer to it, and it is a gold mine of everything you could  want or need. The staff were always friendly and  helpful  too. Such a shame  to lose yet another  model and hobby  shop.

That is a real shame. It's one of the last few proper model shops anywhere and I've often made a detour to go there when I could.

It is a shame to lose yet another model shop. I did go there once when I made a bit of day trip whilst staying with friends in Rochdale. Certainly took me back to my youth.

Just a reminder that they are still selling kits for now, but only online. The shop itself will not reopen. Mail order is still happening. You can order online and collect from the car park.
