Moonbase

The one thing that I haven't had a crack at is a spaceship. I did watch the TV series Space 1999 and I know that there's a scale model set of the moonbase but I was thinking something scratch built in one of the larger scales.
Any suggestions would be very helpful to me

I'm not sure how to classify that quote in my "big book of who to keep an eye on"  I could ask how you know, but that would imply that I do as well 

Blue Peter the kids re-cycling show before it became fashionable.
