Well done Gents

Voted for both of you ....which I had that much luck in the Grand National Sweepstake ;D
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Dizzyfugu

Congratulations to the winners - well done, and tough choice this time.

Weaver

Congratulations to the winners - well done.

Can I just point something out though?

63cpe came third with 19 votes, but Old Wombat's Special Ops boat also got 19 votes, so shouldn't they be joint third place?

Oh my life!  :o :o :o

I'm totally astonished, but VERY pleased of course, thanks so much for the votes, I'm chuffed to blazes.  ;D ;D ;D

I thought the Double Pancake turned out OK, and pretty much like I intended it too, but never in the world did I think it would come out on top of this GB, the class of all the other models was exceptional!

Well done the top three

It was great to participate in the GB, but unfortunately I wasn't able to finish mine. Sorry about that.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

63cpe

Oooooooowwwwwwweeeeeee, thank you all and congraulatation to all participants. What an epic GB this was!

Unfortunately i didn't find the time to vote but i didn't think it would matter after all.

Anyway, congrats to Kit, Jalles and Old wombat!

I also like to thank the academy with the organisation of this group build. It was intensive, it was though and it was glorious! Thank you and we will never, never forget it (quote from famous Dutch soccer trainer Rinus Michels).

Cheers,

Congrats fellas!  Some awesome entries in this GB!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

jalles

Congratulations Kit on a brilliant model with a striking paint scheme, you blew the rest of us out of the water

Awesome job by all the participants, really, there were so many fantastic entries!

Thanks to the mods for putting it all together!

PR19_Kit

Thanks very much, but I think the paint scheme is down to the USN, I just used their standard trainer scheme of the period.   ;D ;)

I may have not mentioned that slightly intentionally.
