At a guess I'd say in the mid 70s, I can't recall seeing any before that time period anyway.

To further the discussion on dating photo calibration circles.  Ryan Vertijet had one on the tail in early tests, 1956.

Anyone asked for a time extension yet?

I wondered when we'd get the first call for one.....................  :-\

No, no-one has so far, unless your post counts Alastair?  ;D

Over two weeks to go yet though.

Ummm yeah, finally got the fuselage together for one of my builds so wouldn't mind if it was extended so I have a slight chance of finishing something.

I think I can get mine over the line by the skin of their teeth.  But a bit of float would be nice.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

We'd need an official request for an extension of course.  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

There's no chance I'll get my offering finished, but on behalf of everyone else  :  Please may we have an extension?

The mods will jointly moderate and decide on an extension. You'll be informed on our decision, naturally.  ;D

After a couple of trans-Atlantic, and indeed trans-USA flights, the moderators have spent many hours in discussion over the extension request and have come to the conclusion that we're not sure if we'll allow an extension or not.

We are concerned about the rate of progress on certain critical projects. We feel that any alteration or slide in schedules will have to be "negotiated" on an individual basis, with due regard to the relative rates of exchange obtaining at the time of "negotiation".

And of course all decisions will be final.

I'm going to have to bail from this GB, I'm afraid.  Nothing to do with the extension debate, rather prevailing domestic considerations that mean little/no modelling is happening right now.

I'd hoped to have had FrankenCOIN done by now (or at least by the current deadline) but there's no guaranteed chance of getting it done by the end of any extension.  As for my other entry, that's not seen the light of day for a month now.

Will plod on with both in the background.

As proof of good faith, and in spirit of collaboration with other forum members, even if I am not directly involved,I can offer 300 peruvian "Soles de oro", left over from a 1980 trip.  <_< Or would you prefer a french Indochine piastres donation on your usual account at the First/Last National Bank of Nigeria?  ;D
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Sounds a good deal.

OK, you've got a two week extension, but not one MINUTE more. That means it'll end at 23:59 Wednesday 141th October 2020 local time wherever you are.
