Many orbits of Sol ago, I read a Sci Fi book that had a combat group of Nuns as combatants. No idea what the book was, but would probably love to read it again.
Apparently, these days, the Sisters of Battle is a thing, in the Warhammer World. So I sort of had to get on board.

This is a Resin print figure to around 75mm scale from an Anycubic Resin 3D printer, these things really are the next phase in model creation.

The Sisters of Battle normally do not appear to wear headress, but that did cut it for me, it needed a bit of Wimple action.
Added a Wimple using AK Greenpower, I had a sample of. Rolled out and formed it into something approaching a simple Wimple  ???

Then it was go to town with the painting. Nowhere near as good as you see on the web, those guys and gals are artists.

The base is from my now positively crude Up 3D printer.

That's come out well, and I agree with you that Nun's need wimples.

Looks like Dengar's sister (from Star Wars -The Empire Strikes Back)?  ;)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Quite a butch looking nun.

You should have seen some of the occupants of the convent that was part of my paper round back in the early 60's

Sister Aquinas was head of an RC  school near Carlisle many years ago. She ruled not only the school but also most of the town with an iron fist on a delicate lacy glove.  Before taking vows, she had been a WREN airframe mechanic at HMS Sparrowhawk (RNAS Hatston, near Kirkwall in the Orkneys)   I'm told that she ran most of Hatston the same way. It was said that if the Germans had invaded, they wouldn't have got past her until they'd all wiped their feet , washed their hands and said three "Hail Marys"

Ah, the Little Sisters of the Lord's Eternal Mercy! ;D

She does look a bit blokey but I figure that's to be expected, really. ;)

Great job there, BT!

Sisters of Battle have been a thing for so long they almost stopped being a thing - until fairly recently there were not new sisters figures released since about 2000...
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

Puddings.. so I gather. Really been out of Wargaming for too long.

Although during my research I found this figure, which, to me, is a true Battle nun. A very angry lady indeed.

I don't care where she's come from, as long as she's not coming towards me!

She looks African.

Very much so. Maybe from one of the West African "Amazon" tribes ? Mind you she could just be on "piece rates" when it comes to getting the harvest in ?  ;)
