I sometimes get the same problem Nils and can't put a finger on it as to why. Seems to be random ?

okay, after turning up the heat in the workspace, a applied asecond coat of clear, and so far, so good.
just needs a matt coat to reduce the shine.

It does look VERY smart indeed.

Humidity?  Is it damp in the workspace?  Turning up the heat will reduce humidity which is possibly why it didn't happen the second time.
I get similar issues in my shed if I try and paint when there is too much moisture in the air.
