I daren't even respond to him either, him being my 'supplier' in this case.  ;D

The cockpit's all assembled and the top fuselage layer is in place, and PSR'd to death of course. It's a rubbish fit, to say the least, but it's on there now. Colin Freightdog's resin radome is glued in place, and there won't be ANY need for noseweight, I can tell you!

Waiting for the 2nd PSR session to dry off before I see if I can add the canopy bits.

Well that didnt work  :banghead: :banghead:
I hit quite a few issues trying to cast the wings for kit. So rather than waste even more rubber and resin I called it quits and informed Kit of the problems. He will be getting his orginal wings back tomorrow.

I'll use the original wings that OGL tried to work on for this model, but I'll take measurements so I can maybe scratchbuild some one day.

The PR19 prototype has got both its tailplanes and one wing attached now.

It's quite long....................  ;D

Here's something unusual, a Meteor with VERY long wings............  ;D

And evidence of a LOT of PSR, but it is an M'box kit of course.

Goodness, you'd think that after building THREE of these PR19s already I'd have remembered how much ruddy PSR there is in trying to get all the joints invisible in some way.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I've about finished the first bout of it, and I'm about to give it a dose of the Halfords Grey Primer. Then I'll get on with the next bout.......... :(

I have been thinking of how to scratch build some  long wings to stick on a CF-100 , originally thought of using  some thick styrene sheet, but I  am not  convinced I  could  reduce the  thickness  down to the tips  . It will be something similar to  this build of yours Kit, and be in RAF service too. Thankyou for the  inspiration

Someone needs to do this with a Canberra. Not those barn doors that the WB-57 has, something a little more slender and attractive.
