The engine can be displayed separately.

The engine can be displayed separately...

...or installed into something completely different and inappropriate.

I want one of these.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The name 'Clear Prop' must come from the same roots as the 'Lift Here' guys in Croatia, or wherever they are.

I'm expecting a company called 'This way up' to appear before much longer.

Wow that engine is spectacular, and as Zenrat mentions begging for an inappropriate type to be fitted into....

I was actually thinking of something like an FE2...

I thought I was joking, but it turns out there really IS a model company called 'This Way Up'!  :o :o

They made 1/43 scale model car engines and stuff, trading under the 'TWU' icon.  Sadly they appear to have gone out of business as their entire range is listed as 'Discontinued'.

A pity, as I already have a 'Lift Here' kit, and I'd love to make a complete set with that 'Clear Prop' Pioneer and a 'This Way Up' kit too.  ;D

Or the Vickers Type 161.

The conical part between the engine and tail is a non-structural fairing

The Type 161 has always intrigued me but I can never get my brain round the fact it was a 30's design. It always looks like the perfect anti Zeppelin aircraft to me, and I suppose large airships were still en-vogue at the time, so maybe there was some logic in it ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
