Their high back La-5 is supposed to be awesome too.

I have one.  Looks great in the box.  I'm looking forward to seeing how it builds.

First impression is it is on a par with an Eduard FW-190 but with a simpler parts breakdown (which might be a good thing).

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I've just ordered one this morning, partly on your "box impressions"  If it's simpler than the Eduard 190 then that's certainly a good thing

Just for once, it's YOUR fault.  ;D

It's usually mine according to OGL, but not this time.

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Very bad news for my wallet.

Due, in the one true scale, from Clear Prop before the end of the year.  Another of my favourite aircraft.

SU-25

And due in 2021.

SU-25U

pics pinched from Britmodeller.

The Grach is IMO eminently whiffable.

Ooooo nice. A new tool Su-25 !

If their recent Kaman Seasprite and the basic Gloster E28/29 kits are anything to go by. The frogfoots will most likely be stunning kits.

You are. I needed a little cheering up and thought I'd order a couple of kits. Your comments had stuck in my brain, so voila. Not sure if it will be real world or not ? Have an inkling to do a captured Finnish one, but I need to check if they actually had any ?

The other kit is an Arma Wildcat Mk VI. So two relatively new companies who started off with the bar set fairly high

I had another peek into the La-5 box today just to make sure.  And I stand by what I wrote.
There is some PE but I think it's all sensible places like bomb fins and undercarriage doors.

Hannants website has a fair few sprue shots and so I had a good look before purchasing, and yes they do look nice

Another COE aircraft too.

Two Whiffs immediately spring to mind.  One of the African Skyraider schemes or a Suez FAA Wyvern.

I built the Anigrand one as a FAA aircraft so this one (on order) needs to be different. Thinking putting it into a USAF Vietnam era scheme.
