First impression is it is on a par with an Eduard FW-190 but with a simpler parts breakdown (which might be a good thing).

I've just ordered one this morning, partly on your "box impressions"  If it's simpler than the Eduard 190 then that's certainly a good thing

You are. I needed a little cheering up and thought I'd order a couple of kits. Your comments had stuck in my brain, so voila. Not sure if it will be real world or not ? Have an inkling to do a captured Finnish one, but I need to check if they actually had any ?

The other kit is an Arma Wildcat Mk VI. So two relatively new companies who started off with the bar set fairly high

There is some PE but I think it's all sensible places like bomb fins and undercarriage doors.

Hannants website has a fair few sprue shots and so I had a good look before purchasing, and yes they do look nice

Two Whiffs immediately spring to mind.  One of the African Skyraider schemes or a Suez FAA Wyvern.

I built the Anigrand one as a FAA aircraft so this one (on order) needs to be different. Thinking putting it into a USAF Vietnam era scheme.
