Just FYI: a new 1:72 OV-1 kit is in the pipeline - actually two kits, a (J)OV-1A and an OV-1D with longer wings and the SLAR pod.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I picked this up, this past weekend, during a trip down to Edmonton.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Mossie

1/48 Lockheed D-21 drone. Crying out for a cockpit; close to MiG-21 size in 1/48, F-105 size if scalorama'd to 1/72.

If you leave it as ramjet, where would you put the cockpit?

Leduc style?

Rick Lowe

Nah - have him riding the thing like Slim Pickens, with a token windshield...  ;D

Yee-Ha!

I got that thing in my stock , from a old SR71 kit ...  it needs a cockpit, that is shure !

But,wouldn't that be to simple for a build ?  There should be more ...

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

How 'bout that.  I currently have a 1/72 one of them soaking in my stripper tank.  From a Revell SR-71 kit.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I have one of the Revell 1/72 ones sitting in the "Long Term Project" park waiting for some inspiration to strike

Point of order the Revell SR-71 with D-21 is a Monogram kit originally released in 1984. Pay
no attention to the name on the box, cynical
rebranding by corporate drones.
;)

I'll put up some pics of an original release one
I built for my Dad yonks ago.
