The Victor will become a Harridan that I did a profile of a while back.

Oh goody, I REALLY liked that!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

It turns out I only have the 2 that are currently on a F-89 & perhaps 2 others. Does it extend to Red Tops as I'm absolutely drowning in those?

What sort of wings are you after, as I have a plethora that isn't necessarily listed at present?

Weaver

Argh - why does stuff like this always come along when cash is tight? :banghead:

Theres' a lot there to like, but I'm going to be restrained and only ask if I can baggsy the 1/200th Vulcan please? I have about three Vulcan ideas that'd be better in small scale, but only one in the stash.

I'll drop you a PM.

Nice one
I am after a pair of long wings to fit on to a cf100 in 1/72nd scale, U2 kits are sparse and a bit expensive to  sacrifice  for the build, and I  am apprehensive about  making a pair from laminated plastic sheet.  I need to measure the  wing roots on the kit and how long the original wings are.

I'm afraid I've recently lost a pair of U-2 wings...

Might I suggest E-2 Hawkeye wings? The chord isn't far off a CF-100 ( slightly larger) & they are pretty high aspect ratio. I have a pair in stock as it were & you could always shorten them slightly to match the CF-100's chord. I can take some photos to show what I mean.

Another option for high aspect ratio wings might be the 1/32 Revell  ask21 or LS8 glider Planes. Thiose are stille available for fools money and Hove you really long Wings. The ask 21 's chord is bigger than the LS8's. If you want me to gauge them, pm me...i got both and u-2 Wings.

I did look into giving a Cannuck U-2 wings but I feel that they are a little undersized for the broad shouldered CF-100. My one is getting F-89H wings with the big pods but seeing that picture is giving me ideas. Damnit I'm meant to be downsizing!!!

A pair of the E-2 wings should be  great thankyou.  Can you add those to my bill.please. I  will have a look at those gliders too David, as I  have a couple of possibly  high altitude  birds to build.

It certainly is Kit,
I bought 2 cf-100 's  of Howard of Effingham(Trevor) and one  will be an RAF  PR-100 and the other one  will get a pair of thin Delta wings  and be a sort of  derivative of the  thin wing Javelin.

The Wooksta!

There was a swept version of the CF100 drawn up, but was abandoned as Avro moved towards the Arrow.
