Interesting.

Very many fascinating and innovative race cars went that way.  No longer competitive they had all the usefull speed parts removed and were then sold on or scrapped.

The rather pokey engine that I built for my drag racing Imp ended up in a sidecar racing outfit, but with TJ fuel injection. :)

The body shell just rusted away. Rather rapidly too, as it was an experimental lightweight body shell pressed from .028" material mostly.

Not so much to rust away of course. :(
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
