It is quite difficult isn't it ? As far as I know Ukraine is the country whilst The Ukraine is the geographical region. So for generations we have said The Ukraine and it was correct, but since the break up of the Soviet Union it's all gotten complicated

I've been like that with the Czech Republic. I got so used to calling it Czechoslovakia but I know both countries get miffed it you use the old name. Czechia seems to be the current vogue, however I worked with a girl who referred to herself as both being and being from, Czech.

Pretty much, although in Czech the "ch" is pronounced as in the Scottish word "loch" (as in Loch Ness/Lomond/etc.).

When I've finished here, I'll be focusing on the weapons in readiness for putting the turret sub-assemblies together.

Well, I'm at the finishing touches on the vehicle but the figures & base are a bit behind.

So, once I've got the LAV finished, I'll post pic's of that & leave the rest until I have time to finish them.

(I have a Cupboard of Doom build that has gotten itself moving, another Ukrainian AFV which will have almost real markings but a very whif setting - eventually.)
