Hello!

Now it's time to make a model that was in my head for a long time.
To make long story short...it still will be Lublin with floats but low-wing, RR Merlin and foul-blade prop :)
Because Lublin RXIII has a additional symbol hydro/ter(which probably means that it can be on floats-hydro, or on wheels - terrain, but I'm not sure),  I thought that it can be a basis for new name for experimentaly modernised Lublin with RR Merlin :) That's how Lublin Hydro Terror was born :)
I'll use Mirage Hobby 1/48 Lublin R.XIII ter/hydro for main parts and ICM 1/48 Spitfire Mk.VIII. These are very cheap kits. Mirage Lublin is veeeryy simple set, old one too. Spit is quite detailed but I'll need only Engine and it's cowling and some cockpit details.

How it looks with Merlin? Just like on photo below :)

A Lublin XIII with a Merlin?  :o :o

That should move along a bit!

I built the KP kit of the XIII seaplane a long while ago, and a neat little aeroplane it looks too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

You can change the size of your posted images by simply adding a width number to the leading img tag:
[img width=800]imageURL[/img (I left off the final bracket so the text shows, using 800 is an arbitrary
preference on my part).

I changed the width in the quote of your post.

It looks an interesting project.

I suppose you could add a V-tail like the R-XIX, which was a converted R-XIII.  ;D  ;)

NARSES2

That R-XIX does look odd.

Looking forward to this project
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Dizzyfugu

It looks like total engine overkill, as if you hang a Merlin onto a Swordfish...!

Nah, a Centaurus is the way to go for a super power Swordfish.  ;D ;)

Because a Centaurus and the original Pegasus were both made by Bristol........

Well, in that case, how about the other Pegasus.

Is it necessary? Swordfish could already take off vertically in a strong headwind.
