For you perusal, an Easy Model 1/700 Kilo-class SSK kit-bashed into an Saukko-class SSK.

The Saukko-class RSS (SSK) is a littoral combat submarine, these hunter-killer submarines are mainly intended for anti-shipping and anti-submarine operations in Finnish territorial waters. Developed jointly between Sweden's Kockum AB and Finland's Masa-Yards. Five Saukko-class submarines were produced for the Finnish Navy built from 1991-1995, and commissioned starting in 1995. The vessels were built with the Sterling engine air-independent propulsion system. The Saukkos utilize the Swedish CSU 90-2 Integrated sonar sensor suite, and is equipped with 6 × 533 mm (21 in) torpedo tubes with 20 Torped 613 torpedoes, 6 RBS-15SF-IIIS AShMs and 24 mines. The Saukkos went through a 20 year refurbishment and refit, starting in 2015, and are expected to last well into the future. The 5 vessels are: FNS Saukko RSS-6, FNS Vetehinen RSS-7, FNS Vesihiisi RSS-8, FNS Iku-Turso RSS-9, & FNS Vesikko RSS-10, named after their predecessors.

So, the Easy Models pre-painted 1/700 Kilo-class was the starting point for this venture. Removed the conning tower, patched the hole, shortened the conning tower, placed the conning tower forward, trimmed the bottom tail plane/rudder, created a top tail plane/rudder from Mirage III fuel tank fin, created sail planes from the same tank fins. Decided on Finland  for the country of origin because they haven't had subs since the 1950s. Still needs a gloss coat for decals, decals, and finally the flat matt coat.

Yes, but that's because your system refers back to your original pic, which isn't what we see here...............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

May I please get a reminder on how to shrink them down to a reasonable size?

Inside the leading img tag should read
Img width=320/640/1280/etc. Pick a number for best "universal" resolution; my standard is 1280.

Yup, nicely done! Both image resize & build.
Thanks! Really proud of this kitbash. Update, Decals on as of last night. Tonight's plan: flat matt spray.

Very nice work! Difficult to make a modern submarine look interesting but you've pulled it off.

By my calculations that is around 100mm long.

Wow.

Good job.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
