In the beginning, there was this box of stuff...

Second Prototype Start 08-08-2020 by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr

This one i'm making up as I go.  All I know is it will be finished in a prototype scheme.

You can never have enough 'stuff' I always say.

I see a B-57 fuselage in there, always a good start to have some Canberra bits....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

This looks interesting! Tilt rotor Canberra?

It's a Revell box scale B-57 fuselage.  The Gundam tilt rotor engines will not be tilting but will be fixed into the wings somehow.
It is to be a prototype twin-prop single seat CoIn aircraft.

Ah, that Kotobukiya tilt rotor mecha conversion set! Lots of potential!  ;D

I have two.  I don't like the rotor blades though.  I've added some material to them to widen them towards the tips which will give them that sixties wedge shape.

I hate popcorn, so whatever the anti-popcorn but watching with interest meme is, that.

zenrat

Sorry Bob, can't help you with the enemy of popcorn.  Although I prefer m&ms at the movies as they are quieter.

So far parts in four different scales in the box.
1/72, whatever scale the Revell B-57 is (1/81 according to Scalemates), 1/48 and 1/144.

Hmmmm! Something along the lines of the Vought V-358 ?

kerick

I'm going to keep the tilt rotor Canberra in my idea box for later.
Turboprop Canberra sounds good! I'll be watching this.

Will the buzzsaws that come with the set see action, too?  ;)

I found drawings of a number of very different looking aircraft all labelled Vought V-358.  But one of the did look vaguely like what I might end up with,..
...or not.

It won't look like a Canberra because by the time I have finished cutting and pasting all that will remain of the B-57 will be a cigar shaped fuselage.

The problem with a turboprop Canberra would be the length of the undercarriage legs required for prop/ground clearance.

Here are my modified Gundam Tilt Rotor pack rotors.  The light grey primed ones are the modified units, the darker grey one is OOB.
I may have to cut mine down some more.  Hard to tell without offering everything up and I haven't made a decision about how to mount the engines yet.

Yep, I found that one.  there is a similarity on the shape of the fuselage but my wings are swept and I will only have one tail.
