It's looking less and less Canberra-like in every pic, but a very smart looking machine.

Are the wings and tail from a 1/48 Me-262? I can't figure them out at all in 1/72.

Correctamundo Kit.
Monogram 1/48 Me 262.  Not a very nice kit IMO.  But perfect for kitbashing.
This now has parts in the following scales.  1/25, 1/48, 1/72, 1/80 and 1/144.  I will have to add some 1/35 bits.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

What a mix!

Wow !

This just works on lots of levels. Keep up the great work.

This GB has be stellar for both imagination and also very practical and convincing engineering

That's looking really good!
The Me 262 wings work really well, interested to see the final undercarriage arrangement.

Also, what canopy are you going to be using?

Btw, like the uses of the wingnut! ;D

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Thanks folks.

Main undercarriage will be housed in pods mounteds on short stubs coming off the lower fuselage.
Two reasons.  1)  to add to the survivability of wheels up landings (as per the A10) and 2) to get clearance for those big props without having to resort to long stalky legs (although I may still have to cut the props down a bit more).

The canopy?  I'm keeping that under my hat fot now.  But it's not what came with the B-57 fuselage.

I've started building the main undercarriage pods.  These combine parts from TSR2, Victor and Ta 154.
Nose gear will combine MRCA and MiG 29.

Main UC pods (or are they sponsons?) are attached.  Weight has been added to the nose.  Primer tomorrow will tie the whole thing together.

Fascinating!

And a very different sort of undercarriage arrangement.

...a very different sort of undercarriage arrangement.

Matchbox Victor refuelling pods mounted backwards.  They'll have landing lights mounted in the front ends.
I needed a design which gave enough ground clearance for those big props but avoided long stalky legs.

Primed.  Areas of concern re PSR identified and putty smeared onto them.
