Made me wonder about a TSR.2 mated with Su-24 VG wings...

I'd considered a slightly different approach. Namely using the 1/72 kit fitted with the wings salvaged from a Revell 1/48 Tornado. They'd scale in nicely.
Unfortunately, I then remembered the truly horrible build ordeal I had with the Airfix 1/72 kit......!
The idea remains compartmentalised in the"ideas of Doom " part of my brain!

Would only be fair, given that the Soviets actually built a Su-24 with TSR.2 wings.

Okay.... almost.  ;D  ;)

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Excellent work! I've always looked at the TSR.2 like i look at the F-104, as in " planes with wing deficit"... ;D
The nose job is also very well done, and IMO, also contributes to the "Sovietization" of the whole design.
