I wonder if a semi recessed  blue steel  missile would work with one of these,  it would have to be  launched  in the atmosphere though I dare say.

Given the launching system, I think the missile would need to be recessed on the top of the Sanger

Is the Sanger the one which would have launched like Fireball XL5? [Showing my age there ]
Showing my age, too, in that I know exactly what you are referring to.  You can step back further, though, to the launch ramp in When Worlds Collide.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thank goodness the L-15 is in the wrong scale for me. I'd have been sorely tempted otherwise.

It's a wonderfully quirky little thing.  Slightly awkward looking, almost insectile.

Exactly.

Many, many years ago I built a free flight model of the L-15, powered by a Mills 0.75, that stalwart of British model flying diesels of the period.

1/32 scale?  :o Could I get inside one that big?

I've got a Pavla 1/72 kit of an OH-55, and it's so small the whole kit sits in the palm of my hand!

SO sorry Zac, those Pavla tiny choppers are delightful, but SO small and fiddly.

You should see the Robinson R-22 kit, the cabin is about the size of my thumb!  :o

I've never had much success with Pavla, we just don't seem to "get on"  :-\
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
