I have built a 1/72 I-16.  I nearly lost it when ants tried to carry it away from my bench...

Even the bloody ANTS are outsize in OZ!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

They like to wander up your workboots and bite you just above the sock.

And of course they can strip a fully grown human to the bone in a matter of minutes.   ;)

That really has come out well mate  :bow: Rather oddly the first thing that came to mind when looking at the comparison photo with the Hellcat from above was how similar to the Boomerang's wings the I-16's are ??

Can't say I can see the Boomerang similarity; the I-16's wings taper almost (if not actually) symmetrically from the leading & trailing edges, while the Boomerang's leading edges sweep backwards towards the straight trailing edges.

I think I  need to double  check  my replies and comments  on here as I  know  damn well I  commented on your build O.W. she is certainly a  venomous looking little pipsqueak  that's for sure.  Very nice :thumbsup:
