Today, I have received a kit (Unicraft 1/72) of Mitsubishi Senden Kai (jet version of the J4M1 Senden). I am going to make an asymmetric version I think.
According to Wikipedia and Google Translate (thanks), Den means Lightning (which is very good for a twin-boomer!), Senden means Flashing Lightning, Kai means Times, Kaisen means Seafood and I like that!

When applied to an aircraft name like that I was under the impression that "kai" meant improved or modified.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

zenrat industries:  We're everywhere...for your convenience..

Google confirms at "meaning of kai in japanese aircraft name" that it is "improved".
While I prefer my civilian seafood ;)

Here is what my project could look like (I will not use the thermoformed canopy): <_<

I have cleaned a little the main parts that I am going to use.
This is not what-if yet (I mean: asymmetric, as this airplane has never been accepted to be built scale 1 so it is itself a whif) ;) :

Here is my project aspect, as slanting view: <_<

I needed to buy again cyanoacrylide glue, now I can start the build: <_<

(this is not what-if shape yet) :-\

a bold one, on several aspects (Unicraft can be a challenge)

That wins a prize for understatement  ;) However they can be strangely satisfying as well.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yes, I am used to be satisfied to make something from Unicraft kits. Now the Jet-Senden "almost real" source is destroyed into a what-if glider (to finish someday), and that makes me smile: <_<

The first putty is on: <_<

I am satisfied up to here (in PSR pain, the first Putty is not a problem, Sanding-Repeat is the unpleasant part...) ;)

I have added more putty, not started sanding, and I show the general intended layout (without glue yet): <_<

First sanding, then starting to add putty again: <_<

2d sanding, then 3rd putty addition (on this side first):

Sanding the main fuselage is finished <_<
But the little boom will require PSR to join the wing I fear...
